Dhaka correspondent :: The largest private sector expo for IT and ITES products and services in Bangladesh, 12th BASIS SoftExpo 2018 is just around the corner. The mega exposition will be held during 22-25 February 2018 at the Bangabandhu International Convention Center (BICC), Sher-E-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka. This expo will be focused on creating more collaborative relationships with other nations, inviting trade delegations from selected countries to join us as we showcase the immense potential of Bangladeshi ICT industry. The four-day event will be a congregation of ICT companies, personalities, key policy makers, industry leaders and other ICT stakeholders.
As part of the exposition, there will be 30+ Seminars & Tech Sessions on various burning issues in Bangladeshi IT and ITES industry. One for the major attraction, among seminars & dialogues is the seminar on “AI & Machine Learning”. Machine learning is a field of computer science that gives computers the ability to learn without being explicitly programmed. Prof. Alan Edelman of MIT shall provide the lay of the land for machine learning and artificial intelligence, describe how these will evolve in the next few years and share his thoughts on how they will impact the lives of people.

Mr. Mustafa Jabbar, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology will grace the session as Chief Guest while Prof. Dr. Jamilur Reza Choudhury, Vice Chancellor, University of Asia Pacific will attend the the session as Special Guest.
