In Attrai three brothers and sisters in being chained for ten years

---Nazmul Haque, Attrai (Naogaon) Correspondent: Once upon a time, Loba Pramanic had a happy family with his five children and wife. Within those five children, two of them are daughters and three are sons. But for ten years two of the sons and one of the daughter leads their life as mad and being chained in their own house in Bojropur village, Atrai Upozila, Naogaon District. On the other hand, the rest one son and one daughter of this family living their lives with their own family. Though the neighbors said that sometimes they heard about their madness also. In these days this family faces very much sufferings in their daily life. This family couldn’t been able to treatment their sons and daughters for the lack of sufficient money. This old man Loba Pramanic don’t even get the assigned old age allowance yet. Sometimes he also showed some madness symptoms because of his old age. They chained their mad children as they aren’t been able to treatment them yet.
This family only had the card of buying rice only at 10 taka per KG. This family plead to the senior officials to help them.

By going on the spot it was known that they live in a small village in a broken house situated in Ahsangonj Union, besides the Brajapur Bazar, close to the Brajapara Primary School. This family leads a humanitarian life. The neighbors told that once upon a time, this family was involved in black magic kind of stuffs, according to them, it’s the effect of that. For that reason, this house known to the villagers as mad house.
On this topic, their mother Raijan Begum told “We are here living a very poor and humanitarian life. When I go to feed my mad children they broke the plates in several times, so we have provide them food in Polibags. Sometimes, I feel I am also going mad of caring them”.
Father Loba Pramanic said, “They were kept in Pabna mental hospital. But they have sent back. But now these days, I don’t know what I will feed them. Somehow, we don’t even have foods to eat. This is how our life goes.
Dr. Ataur Rahman told us that in past, this family was miserable. To make treatment their children, this family expense all their money. He calls for support from the rich people for this family.
Union Council member Ahsan Habib Kayes told us “In addition to the government cooperation that came to the union, we the neighbors help them whenever it is possible.” He also requested the journalists to help them get the government’s financial assistance.
